PREPARING CORN

REMOVE OUTER HUSK ONLY, LEAVE 2 OR 3 LAYERS OF LEAVES. PULL BACK LEAVES
AND REMOVE ALL SILK; SPRINKLE EAR WITH WATER; REPLACE LEAVES TO COVER
EAR COMPLETELY. COOK IN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS...->

GRILL:

SPRINKLE LEAVES WITH ADDITIONAL WATER; WRAP AND SEAL EACH EAR IN FOIL.
GRILL OVER MEDIUM HOT COALS, 5 TO 6 INCHES FROM HEAT, ABOUT 20 MINUTES,
TURNING FREQUENTLY. CAREFULLY REMOVE FOIL AND HUSK; BUTTER AND SEASON.

ROAST:

HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES. PLACE CORN DIRECTLY ON OVEN RACK, ROAST 10 TO
15 MINUTES. REMOVE HUSKS; BUTTER AND SEASON.

MICROWAVE:

MICROWAVE CORN, 3 TO 4 MEDIUM EARS AT A TIME, ON HIGH 6 TO 16 MINUTES;
TURN ONCE DURING COOKING. LET STAND 1 TO 2 MINUTES. REMOVE LEAVES,
BUTTER AND SEASON.
